    1973 Porsche 911T Restoration Updated 3/1/10

    We are nearing completion of this 1973 911T restoration. This is a two owner California blue plate car that has traveled only 42,286 miles. We have taken the factory air conditioning out (per customer request) and have spent many hours preparing the car for concours condition.

    Road Scholars has followed up last year’s Porsche Parade success with two more Zuffenhausen trophies and a division win in Keystone, Colorado, the first division win for our shop!

    1963 Carrera 2 Cabriolet Restoration 2008 Porsche Parade Winner

    This is the 1963 Carrera Cab that we restored and showed for one of our best clients at the Porsche Parade in Charlotte, North Carolina. The car won the Zuffenhousen award, scoring 295.1 out of 300 possible points. After we’re done with this restoration, let’s just say, it will score higher than 295.1 on its next outing.

    1959 Convertible D Restoration 2009 Porsche Parade Winner

    1959 356A Convertible D 1st place Performance Division win 295.1 points (out of 300) Zuffenhausen Award. We restored this Convertible D for one of our favorite customers. It was completed to mild outlaw specs and can easily be turn back to stock specifications.

    1963 Carrera 2 Coupe Restoration 2009 Porsche Parade Winner

    Road Scholars has followed up last year’s Porsche Parade success with two more Zuffenhausen trophies and a division win in Keystone, Colorado. It is our first division win for our shop. Both cars are fresh from our award winning restoration facility and were shown in full restoration classes.

    1963 356B Carrera 2 296.2 points (out of 300) Zuffenhausen Award. This is a rare annular disc brake Carrera 2 that we restored to it’s original color configuration of Slate Grey and red leather interior.

    1952 Pre-A Cabriolet Restoration in Progress

    This is by far the best part of the restoration process. When all the hard and meticulous work culminates in the assembly of the car. Also, this is the most critical time of the restoration, as the last 15% is what separates Concour winner’s from very good cars.
